Leave bandage on overnight. Do not re-bandage.
WASH YOUR HANDS EVERY TIME YOU PERFORM AFTERCARE.
Wash at least twice a day with a mild NON-SCENTED soap AND gently pat dry with a clean towel or paper towel.
Apply a VERY SMALL AMOUNT of the recommended ointment to your tattoo after every time you wash it, as well as when it becomes dry.
Rub it in well so it looks moist, NOT greasy. Applying too much ointment will soak the color out of your tattoo, not enough and your tattoo will get dry, scab, and again lose color.
Wear loose clothing as tight clothing can cause constant friction and subsequently cause an infection.
Keep applying ointment for three days after washing and any other time your tattoo becomes dry.
After three days of the ointment, switch to Aveeno Original OR Lubriderm Unscented lotion for three weeks.
KEEP YOUR TATTOO OUT OF THE SUN COMPLETELY.
No wool or polyester clothing over your tattoo. Cotton is preferable.
DO NOT pick or scratch. To relieve itchiness, gently pat area.

Before exposure to the sun and for as long as you live, apply a sunscreen of at least 30 SPF over your tattoo to keep it vibrant.

Do not listen to your friend’s advice regarding tattoo care.
